Untitled, 2024
Projection on Chiffon, Bamboo
60" x 36" x 60"
The concept of this work was to physically express the layers of time, place, and memory. It also relates to the layered nature of printmaking. Seven layers of chiffon fabric enlarge and displace the projected image of the driveway to my grandparents house until it is no longer visible. The viewer can interact with the piece by walking through it to become a part of the work and to find different perspectives for the same image.
